RadEye B20 And B20-ER Perfect For First Responders

The Thermo Scientific™ RadEye™ B20 and B20-ER Multi-Purpose Survey Meters are simple, robust, reliable contamination and dose rate measurement tools, perfect for characterising alpha, beta, gamma and X-ray radiation. 

The RadEye B20 and B20-ER Multi-Purpose Survey Meters give you a handheld, on-site solution for security personnel, fire brigades, emergency response personnel and any agencies involved in decontamination and decommissioning projects and hospital and pharmaceutical industry employees.

Both are lightweight at 300g and are rugged and compact, with a protective rubber cover. You get about 500 hours of operation from 2 AAA batteries, giving you a remarkably low cost of ownership. NiMH batteries can also be used. 

The menu driven user interface is intuitive which keeps you training costs to a minimum, as users will gain a near immediate familiarity with the device. 

The RadEye B20 and B20-ER are both extremely versatile with operation modes such as:

• Scaler/Timer with preset count and preset time for sample measurements.
• Continuous ratemeter mode for frisker operation.
• Dose rate mode.

And you will appreciate the large internal data memory capacity that can be used for scaler results and continuous monitoring.
