Online Continuous Air Monitor IP65

Manufacturer
SARAD: Aer 5400

The Aer 5400 is a continuous air monitor for detecting airborne radioactive aerosols (LLRD), commonly used in nuclear facilities, the NORM industry, mines, and nuclear medicine. It collects aerosols on a filter for analysis, compensating for background radiation from radon and gamma sources. The device is immediately operational with an intuitive touch screen and straightforward menu.

Housed in an IP65-rated stainless steel enclosure, it is easy to decontaminate and can be wall or trolley-mounted. The specially designed air inlet minimizes particle loss, and an electric valve regulates the flow rate for uniform aerosol deposition. It features a large filter for extended operation periods and an optional manually replaceable filter cartridge for easy contaminated section removal.

Operational parameters are continuously monitored and stored, with a flexible alert system to notify users of threshold exceedances or operational deviations.
